Desirable: Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel a strong plus.Required: The applicant must have Auto CAD experience. Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor. Must be able to work within tight deadlines and/or under pressure. May also be required to complete/pass a Certified Playground Safety Inspector test.
Will use accepted drawing standards and conventions as guidelines.Work from drawings, sketches or scanned images, customer drawings, or Government drawings or specifications.May be responsible for some design elements.Self-check own work for completeness, accuracy, meeting standards, fits and stack-ups.Work closely with all departments to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information for quoting, estimating, and production.Will work with the design team to create structure configurations with pre-designed CAD blocks and site plan layouts. Entry level position with on the job training available to those who meet minimum experience requirements. Work with other engineering personnel to develop drawings and site plans. We are looking for a CAD Designer who can operate Computer Aided Design (CAD) computer software, designing park and playground equipment including creating, updating and modifying drawings for sales, engineering, factory production, and/or customer use.
